Marilyn E. Yard

Marilyn E. Yard, age 66 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at her home surrounded by her family.

Born in Camden, NJ, December 7, 1949, daughter of the late John A. and Leslie Asbury Herrington, Marilyn was a resident of Hunterdon County for over sixty years.

She was formerly employed by Hunterdon Cardiology Associates and later was employed in the Billing Dept. of the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Surviving are her husband of forty-seven years, William Yard; two daughters, Moricia Marshall of Manville, NJ and Megan Vacarro of Flemington, NJ; a son, Michael Yard of Holland Township, NJ; three sisters, Joanne Smith of Doylestown, PA, Leslie Kim Matelainen of Millers Falls, MA. and Laurie Wille of Flemington, NJ; two brothers, Kenneth Herrington of Washington, NJ and Joseph D. Herrington of Powhatan, VA.; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 16, 2016, at 1:00 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Cherryville Cemetery, Cherryville, NJ. Calling hours will be Saturday 11:00 AM -1:00 PM at the funeral home.
