Marilyn V. “Mimi” Kanach, age 89 years, of East Amwell Township, NJ, died Friday, June 11, 2021, at her home.
Born in Pittsburgh, PA, April 1, 1932, daughter of the late Edward and Olive Milan Granzen, Mimi had resided most of her life in the Flemington area.
A graduate of Flemington High School, Class of 1950, she was person who always supported her family and friends. With Mimi, family always came first.
Mimi was also a longtime member of the Flemington Presbyterian Church who formerly engaged in many church activities including the church bowling league.
She was pre-deceased by two sons, Daryl Kanach, in 2011 and Douglas Kanach, in 2017, as well as her four brothers and her sister.
Surviving are her husband of sixty-nine years, John ”Jack” Kanach; a son Jeffrey Kanach of East Amwell Township, NJ and three grandchildren, Todd Kanach, Emily Kanach and Samantha Kanach.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 17, 2021, at 11:00 AM in the Flemington Presbyterian Church, Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Thursday 10:00 AM in the Flemington Presbyterian Church until the time of service. Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ.
