Mario Grande

Mario Grande, age 48 years, of Perkasie, Pennsylvania, died January 19, 2018 in his home. Born July 8, 1969 in Huntington, New York, son of the late Joseph G. and Marie Antoinette (DiPaolo) Grande, Mario was a 1987 graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School. He had resided in Perkasie for the past 12 years. Mario was a Road Supervisor for the Hunterdon County Road Department, where he had been employed for nearly thirty years. Mario was an avid camper, and found great joy in spending time with his close group of camping friends at various campsites. He enjoyed working on and racing all types of cars – but especially Camaros and his T-Max remote controlled cars. He had a fondness for all animals, but particularly his many Rottweilers throughout the years. Above all, Mario treasured spending time with his family. He loved taking his children on fishing trips, and watching them in their various events – especially Kailee’s drama and Nikolas’ baseball and basketball games. He and his wife, Kimberly, also often travelled to Panther Lake in Andover, NJ together. Predeceased by his parents, Mario is survived by his wife of fourteen years, Kimberly (Smith) Grande; two children, Kailee and Nikolas, both at home; one brother and his wife, Joseph & Janine Grande of Pennsylvania; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Todd and Jennifer (Polakowski) Smith of New Jersey and their children, Grayson & Sona of New Jersey; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert & Marianne Smith of New Jersey. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at 12:00 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
