Marion C. Heisch

Marion C. Heisch, age 86 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at Independence Manor, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Nyack, NY, August 10, 1927, daughter of the late James and Helen Feise Emmons, she had formerly resided in Pearl River, NY, Roselle, NJ and Mountainside, NJ.

She graduated from Union High School, Union County, NJ and Comptometer School, Newark, NJ. Marion was formerly employed by N.J. Bell Telephone Company.

She married the love of her life, Victor Heisch, of Rahway,NJ, and they were married sixty-two years until his death in 2010.

Marion was a member of the Flemington Presbyterian Church and also of its' Womens Association. She was also a member of the Flemington Womans Club and Atlas Chapter #99 of the Order of the Eastern Star, Westfield, NJ. She also loved to sew, knit, read and make jewelry. She and her husband loved to travel and saw much of the world.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Andrew Toton of Philadelphia, PA, and many friends.

Private graveside services will be held in Cresthaven Memorial Park Cemetery, Clifton, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 9, 2014, at 11:00 AM in the Flemington Presbyterian Church, Flemington, NJ. Memorial contributions may be made to Hunterdon Hospice, 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822.
