Born April 13, 1914 in Delaware Township, she was the daughter of Edward and Essie (Bodine) Keown. She was a teacher for the Delaware Township School System.
Marion was survived by her husband, T. Roland Thornton.
Funeral services were held in Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington. Interment was in Rosemont Cemetery.
