Marion Oravetz

Marion Oravetz, age 91 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on Monday, January 7, 2013, in the Country Arch Care Center, Pittstown, NJ.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, January 14, 1921, she had formerly resided in Yonkers, NY, moving to Flemington in 1991.

She was a retired security clerk with Chase Manhattan Bank, New York, NY.

She was a member of the Flemington American Legion Post #159 Ladies Auxiliary, the Flemington Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, the Hunterdon County Democrats, and was a volunteer at the Hunterdon Medical Center.

Her husband, George Oravetz, died in 1990. Surviving are her nephews and niece, Stephen Kilinski of Pohatcong Township, NJ, Paul Kilinski of Flemington, NJ, and Kathryn Kilinski of Vershire, VT.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in St. Magdalen Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 6-8 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
