Marjorie K. Holcombe, age 88 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died on Tuesday, June 15, 2004 in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Clifton, NJ, February 11, 1916, daughter of the late George and Tillie Van Dorn Kusant, Sr., she had resided in Delaware Township most of her life.
She was an assembler with Belmont Forwarding, Lambertville, NJ, retiring in 1982.
Mrs. Holcombe was a member of Old Rocks Church of West Amwell Township, NJ; the Delaware Township Senior Citizens and the West Amwell Senior Citizens; and the Holcombe-Jimison Farmstead Museum, Lambertville, NJ.
Surviving are her husband of sixty-six years, Donald S. Holcombe; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Carol and Bruce Pitbladdo and Barbara and Richard Dubusky, all of Delaware township, NJ; a granddaughter and her husband, Michele and Michael Duffey of New Windsor, NY; a brother, George Kusant, Jr. of Delaware Township, NJ; and two sisters, Dorthea Coleman of Delaware Township, NJ and Edna Garboski or Ormond Beach, FL. Two brothers, William Kusant and John Kusant, predeceased her.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Barber Cemetery, Dilts Corner, NJ. Calling hours will be held Friday from 7-9 p.m. Please visit www.holcombefisher.com for further information.
