Marjorie Potts

Marjorie Potts, age 72 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Sunday, August 9, 2009 in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Clinton Township, NJ, May 13, 1937, daughter of the late Albert and Gladys Sheets Potts, she had resided in Clinton Township the majority of her life.

A 1955 graduate of North Hunterdon High School, she was formerly a waitress and a truck driver. Additionally, she was a longtime member of the Allerton United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a brother, Floyd Potts of Standish, ME; a sister, Mary Hartwick of Clinton Township, NJ; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will take place Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Union Baptist Cemetery, Leigh Street, Clinton, NJ. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service in the Funeral Home.
