Born in New Jersey on April 7, 1889, he was the son of the late Howard Bowers and Louisa Shipe.

Mr. Bowers was a retired farmer.

He was survived by his wife, Lillian (Webster) Bowers, of Ringoes.

Interment in New Cemetery, Somerville, NJ.
