Martha M. Lamendola

Martha M. Lamendola, age 96 years, died on Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at Country Arch Care Center, Union Township, NJ.

Born in Coffeetown, PA, September 4, 1909, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Anna Laubach Funk. She had resided in Flemington, NJ for most of her life.

A homemaker, she was a former member of the Daughters of Pocahantas Lodge, Flemington, NJ, and the Rosary and Altar Society of St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ.

Her husband, Russell Charles Lamendola, died in 1980. Surviving are a son, Russell J. Lamendola of Raritan Township, NJ; a daughter, Virginia Dorio of Woodsville, NJ; five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in St. Magdalen Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 9-9:30 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
