Mary B. O'Neill

Mary O’Neill, age 89 years, of Raritan Borough, NJ, died Monday, March 27, 2023, at the Rehab at Rivers Edge, Raritan, NJ.

She was born in Raritan Borough, September 14, 1933, daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Deak Perzel, and had resided in Raritan Borough for many years.

A veteran, Mary served in the US Army 1959-1965 and was honorably discharged in 1965.

After her Army service, Mary was involved in retail sales with Mundy’s Clothing Store, W. T. Grant Store and also with Baker & Taylor Book Store.

A brother, Robert Perzel, died in 2022.

Among her survivors are a brother, Joseph Perzel of Raritan, NJ a sister-in-law, Nancy Perzel of Ringoes, NJ and her cousins, Michael Deak of Neshanic Station, NJ and Julie Deak of New Hampshire.

Cremation services are private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be at a later date in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Bridgewater, NJ.
