Mary Bernadette Smith

Mary B. Smith, age 75 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on Tuesday, September 29, 2009, at her residence.

Born in Dublin, Ireland, December 6, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Jerome and Mary Martin Foy.

She worked in retail sales for Super X Drugs, Carteret, NJ for twenty-two years.

She was a United States Air Force veteran.

Surviving are her husband, Ernest Friend Smith, Jr; a daughter, Claire Donnelly of Kingwood Township, NJ; three sons, Ernest Smith III of Flemington, NJ, Thomas J. Smith of Lake Forest, CA, and Brian Patrick Smith of the Czech Republic; three brothers, Gary Foy of Dublin, Ireland, Anthony Foy of Germany, and Declan Foy of Alabama; two sisters, Ena Dunne of Dublin, Ireland, and Stephanie Gregg of New York, NY; and five grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Victories Church, Rt. 519, Baptistown, NJ. Interment will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
