Mary C. Sargent

Mary C. Sargent, age 86 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Bronx, NY, July 15, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna Tansol Commarata.

She was a school crossing guard/special officer for the Borough of Flemington for many years.

She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post #159, Flemington, NJ and the Ladies Auxiliary of Flemington VFW Post #7856.

Her husband, Eugene Sargent, died in 2010. Surviving are a daughter, Maryann Woodhull of Frenchtown, NJ; a brother, Michael Commarata of Paterson, NY; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, November 29, 2012, at 2:00PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
