Mary Costa

Mary Costa, age 82 years, of Hampton, NJ, died on Tuesday, October 9, 2012, in Country Arch Care Center, Pittstown, NJ.

Born in Manhattan, NY, May 12, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Angelina Carini Morisi. She had formerly resided in Italy, where she taught school, and then in Brooklyn, NY, before moving to Hampton, NJ.

She was a communicant of St. Ann's Church, Hampton, NJ and a member of the Women's Auxiliary of the Societa Del Val Trebbia E Val Nure.

Her husband, Luigi Costa, died in 2002 as well as a son, Anthony, in 2012.

Surviving are a son, Joseph R. Costa of Flemington, NJ; a daughter, Angela Calvanico of La Verne, Ca; and six grandchildren, Al Calvanico, Michael Calvanico, Alexander Costa, Christopher Costa, Kristin Costa and Maria Costa.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Ann's Church, Hampton, NJ followed by interment in the church cemetery. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the Church on Friday. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
