Mary E. Luster

Mary E. Luster, age 71 years, of Kingwood Township, NJ, died on Thursday, October 21, 2010 in the Rolling Hills Care Center, Clinton Township, NJ.

Born in Flemington, NJ, August 18, 1939, daughter of the late Jacob Elmer and Helen Wolfe Strawser, she was a lifelong Hunterdon County, NJ resident.

A graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School, Mrs. Luster was formerly a food service worker at Trenton Psychiatric Hospital, Trenton, NJ.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, Donald J. Luster, Sr. and her companion, John Potocki.

Surviving are four daughters, Mary Luster of Frenchtown, NJ, Dawn Daugherty of Wartburg, TN, Wanda Plimpton of Alpha, NJ, and Lynn Walker of Flemington, NJ; four sons, Donald Luster, Jr. of Glen Gardner, NJ, Thomas Luster of Washington, NJ, Samuel Walker of Ocala, FL, and Scott Walker of Flemington, NJ; a brother, John Edward Strawser of Flemington, NJ; twenty-one grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service in the Funeral Home.
