Mary Elizabeth Wolfson

Mary Elizabeth Wolfson, age 72 years, of Berkeley Heights, NJ, died Friday, January 8 2016, at Overlook Hospital, Summit, NJ. Born in Trenton, NJ, November 12, 1943, daughter of the late Russell and Elizabeth Muller Shepherd, she grew up in Flemington, NJ, graduated from Hunterdon Central High School in 1962, and received her BA in Latin from St. Elizabeth's College. Mary was Quality Assurance Supervisor with the State of New Jersey, retiring in 1995. Mary was a member of the Harmonium Choral Society where she sang with the Second Alto section. Surviving are her loving husband of forty-five years, Eugene P. Wolfson; her brother-in-law and sister-in law, Martin and Janis Wolfson; and several cousins. She was also a loving Aunt and Great Aunt to her nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, January 11, 2016, at 10:00 AM in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Ringoes, NJ. Calling hours will be Sunday 4:00-7:00 PM at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
