Mary Glynos

Mary Glynos, age 88 years, of Flemington, NJ, died Tuesday, July 17, 2012, in Ocean Medical Center, Brick, NJ.

Born in Boston, MA., July 11, 1924, daughter of the late Andrew and Helen Deros Kirios, she had resided in Flemington fifty-four years.

A former hairdresser, she was a homemaker and was a former choir member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Lynn, MA. For several years she loved attending Briteside Adult Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ

Her husband, James Glynos, died in 2002. Three sisters, Polly Dominos, Bess Kirios and Ann Kirios, also pre-deceased her. Surviving are two daughters, Annette Glynos of Bernardsville, NJ and Elaine Glynos Johnson of Bridgewater, NJ and a granddaughter, Mariel Johnson of Bridgewater, NJ.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM in St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Klockner Road, Hamilton Township, NJ, followed by interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Friday 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
