Mary H. Giglio, age 94 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Monday, June 1, 2010 in the Green Knoll Care and Rehabilitation Center, Bridgewater, NJ.
Born in Pottsville, PA, February 23, 1916, daughter of the late Paul and Anna Lojun Horvath, she had resided in Raritan Township since 1998, having formerly lived in Gillette and Linden, NJ.
A Communicant of St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ, she was a faithful member of the Hunterdon County Knitting Guild and knitted hats for homeless men as well as baby hats for the newborns of the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ. She also knitted baby hats and baby sweaters for the Golden Talents.
She was pre-deceased by her first husband, Nicholas Haluska, Sr.; her second husband, Ralph Giglio; and a son, Nicholas Haluska, Jr.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Rosemary A. and Francis Gelino of Raritan Township, NJ; a son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Christine Haluska of Farmingdale, NJ; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Anne Horwhat of Harrisburg, PA; a sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Edward Klitsch of Harrisburg, PA; a sister, Susan Malinowski in FL; nine grandchildren; and five great granchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 28, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
