Mary Hoitink

Mary Hoitink, age 85 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, March 25, 2009, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Jamestown, NY, August 7, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Howard A. and Bessie Johnson Dailey. She had formerly resided in Florida and in Randolph, NY.

She worked in the accounting department of Empire Life Insurance Company, Jamestown, NY, and then at GMAC for five years. She was a member of the Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter, and the American Legion Post Ladies Auxiliary, all in Randolph, NY.

Her husband, William Hoitink, died in 2007. Surviving are a son, Todd B. Hoitink, of Dublin, OH; a daughter, Ann Engberg, of Raritan Township, NJ; and four grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held in Randolph, NY on a date and time to be announced. Interment will be private. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
