Mary K. Rake

Mary K. Rake, age 70 years, of Whiting, NJ, died on Friday, June 12, 2015 in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in New Brunswick, NJ, April 20, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Eleanor Callahan Burd. She had formerly resided in Toms River, NJ, and Flemington, NJ.

Surviving are her husband of fifty-one years, Joseph Martin Rake; her three daughters: Elly Fama of Philadelphia, PA, Elsie Fleming of Upper Black Eddy, PA, and Doris Rake of Flemington, NJ; a brother, Harry Burd, of Pocono, PA; a sister, Dolly Slack, of Lambertville, NJ; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services and interment in Harbourton Cemetery, Hopewell Township, NJ will be private.
