Mary Lewis Robbins, 66, of Ringoes, NJ passed away Sunday morning, May 23, 2010 at home.
She was born to the late Robert Lewis and Margaret McEwan and raised in Madison, NJ and attended The Grier School and Southern Seminary College.
Mary loved horses as a youngster and became an exceptional equestrian. For thirty five years she rode in many horse shows, did eventing, cross country riding, hunted with the Spring Valley hounds, and trail riding adventures with her daughter, Michele, as members of the Amwell Valley Trail Association and Somerset County Horse and Pony Association. She taught for many years at different pre-schools. Her latest passions included biking and hiking with the Hunterdon walking and hiking clubs.
Surviving her are her beloved daughter, Michele Robbins and son in-law, Bruce Teller, her five cherished grandchildren, Anthony, JJ, Isaiah, and Reese Robbins and Robert Teller. She also leaves her devoted sister and brother in-law, Holly and Joe Lentini of Chatham, NJ and their families.
Funeral Services will take place Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Kirkpatrick Memorial Presbyterian Church, Ringoes, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Morristown, NJ. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00-10:30 a.m. at the Church.
