Mary Mcguire Whitlock

Mary McGuire Whitlock, age 93 years, of Danville, VA, formerly of Quakertown, NJ, and Cherryville, NJ, died on Monday, August 6, 2018 at Sovah Health after being in declining health for several months. Mrs. Whitlock was born in Bartley, NJ on August 18, 1924 daughter of the late Rev. William T. McGuire and Minnie Earles McGuire. She lived most of her life in New Jersey until she moved to Danville in 1990 where she was a secretary for a law firm. She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church where she volunteered as an organist. Mrs. Whitlock was married to John Whitlock, Jr. who died on March 7, 2011. Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews. She was the last survivor of her generation. A private graveside service will be conducted under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ in Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown, NJ.
