Mary Norma Roth

Mary Norma Roth, age 85 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Thursday, October 16, 2014, at Independence Manor, Raritan Township, NJ. Born in Flemington, NJ, daughter of the late Norman and Manilla Armstrong Everitt, she had resided in the Flemington area all her life. Mary Norma was a graduate of Flemington High School, Class of 1947 and the Abington Hospital School of Nursing, Abington, PA. She was a registered nurse. A homemaker and caregiver, she was an active member of the Flemington Baptist Church and started the Crib Nursery there, where she continued to volunteer for over forty years. Mary Norma was a graduate of Flemington Children's Choir and for many years served as a trustee there. She was also a member of the Abington Hospital Nursing School Alumni Association.. Her husband, August Roth, died in 2013, and her brother, James Everitt, died in 1995. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Cheryl Roth of Sergeantsville, NJ; two daughters, Sherri Clark of Robbinsville, NJ and Sandra Roth of Flemington, NJ; and four grandchildren, Eryn Clark, Marissa Clark, Mackenzie Piggott and her husband, Martyn, and Ian Wheeler. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 21, 2014, at 11:00 AM in the Flemington Baptist Church, 170 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Ringoes, NJ. Calling hours will be Monday 6:00-9:00 at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
