Mary Ringer

Mary Ringer, age 86 years, of Ringoes, NJ (East Amwell Township), died Sunday, June 11, 2017, at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Sergeantsville, NJ, November 19, 1930, daughter of the late Howard and Violet Housel Johnson, she had resided in Hunterdon County all her life.

Mary was a homemaker who loved her family and was an avid gardener who was well-known for her strawberries. She also enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and listening to WDVR for its' country music programs. Mary was a former member of the Sergeantsville United Methodist and for many years was a member of the Reaville Church.

Mary was pre-deceased by a daughter, Linda Matthews in 1999 and was also pre-deceased by her brothers and sister, George Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Horace Johnson and Julia Johnson.

Her husband, Eugene Ringer, Sr., died in 1992. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Eugene and Terry Ringer, Jr. of Flemington, NJ; three daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Robert Longcor of Belvidere, NJ, Joy and David Fine of Pineville, PA., and Patti and Don Cerrato of Hillsborough, NJ; a brother, Grover Johnson of Bethlehem, PA.; eight grandchildren, April, Michelle, Brenda, Dan, Tom, Matt, Sarah and Brett; and two great grandchildren, Zoe and Alexandra.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 17, 2017, at 11:00 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Reaville, NJ. Calling hours will be Saturday 9:00-11:00 AM at the funeral Home.
