Mary Scott Ryan

Mary Scott Ryan, age 77 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at her home.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA., daughter of the late Emory and Florence Crow Parker, she moved to Flemington, NJ in 1946 and graduated from Flemington High School, Class of 1955. Mary Scott graduated from Endicott Junior College, Beverly, MA. in 1957.

After graduation from college, she resided for twenty years in Massachusetts working in the retail field and then resided for seven years in Indiana before returning to Flemington.

Mary Scott was an active member of the Flemington Presbyterian Church and its' Women's Association. She was also a volunteer with other organizations.

Her brother, Wayne H.Parker, died in 1983.

Surviving are three daughters, Donna M. Poland and her husband, Ben of Marshall, IN., Catherine A. Williamson and her husband, Scott of Bloomingdale, GA., and Patricia A. Ryan of Flemington, NJ; two sons, Timothy F. Ryan of Flemington, NJ, and Edward S. Ryan and his wife, Dana of Atlanta, GA.; ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 18, 2014, at 11:00 AM in the Flemington Presbyterian Church, Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Saturday 10:00-11:00 AM at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
