Mary Thompson Freund

Mary Thompson Freund, age 93 years, of West Trenton, NJ, died on Tuesday, March 6, 2007, in Delaware Township, NJ, at the home of her daughter.

Born in Torresdale, PA, July 8, 1913, she was the daughter of the late George and Jane Wood Thompson. She had formerly resided in Newportville, PA, and Hulmeville, PA, moving to West Trenton, NJ forty years ago.

She worked in numerous hosiery mills in Pennsylvania including Blue Moon, and then worked at Stonite Coil Company, Yardville, NJ.

She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Ewing, NJ, and Peppy Pals, Hulmeville, PA.

Her husband, William E. Freund, whom she married in Bel Air, MD in 1942, died in 1991. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Susan J. and Joseph (Fred) Terranova of Delaware Township, NJ; a granddaughter, Marisa A. Terranova of Manhattan, NY; a grandson, Joseph(Freddy) Terranova of Delaware Township, NJ; a cousin, Thelma Hart Copeland of Quarryville, PA; three nieces, Gaile Boothe of Westfield, NJ, Arlene Wallen of Daniels, WV, and Barbra Pety of Wrightstown, NJ; and many grand nieces and grand nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Ewing Cemetery, Ewing, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 10 AM until time of service in the funeral home.
