Mary Van Horn

Mary Van Horn, age 78 years, of Kingwood Township, NJ, died Monday, July 3, 2017, at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ. Born in Trenton, NJ, November 9, 1938, daughter of the late Harry and Ella Hindermyer Scarborough, she formerly resided in Lambertville, NJ and had resided In Kingwood Township most of her life. A homemaker, her husband, Roy Van Horn, died in 1985 and a sister, Joan Griffith, died this year. Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and John Wilson of Milford, NJ, Mary Ellen and Charlie Dickson of Greeley, CO, and Nancy and Brian Hillegas of Phillipsburg, NJ; two sons and daughters-in-law, Roy and Gail Van Horn of Windsor, CO, and Dale and Dawn Van Horn of Frenchtown, NJ; a brother, Richard Hindermyer of Lambertville, NJ; two sisters, Sylvia DeRemer of Oklahoma and Betty Graziano of Lahaska, PA; thirteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Cremation services are private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. There will be a public memorial service at a later date.
