Mary Zyck, age 82 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Sunday, January 20, 2008 in Mount Siani Hospital, New York City, NY.
Born in New York City, NY, July 17, 1925, the daughter of the late Henry and Anna Baranek Fandel, she had resided in Raritan Township for most of her life.
She was employed by the Kuhl Corporation, Raritan Township, NJ for seventeen years.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Fred Zyck, Sr. in 1993; two sons, Kenneth Zyck in 1967 and Fred Zyck, Jr. in 1969; two sisters, Mildred Fandel and Helen Fandel; a step-sister, Caroline; and three brothers, Henry, John and Paul Fandel.
Surviving are a daughter, Debra Virgilio of Raritan Township, NJ; two sons, Edward Zyck of Tewksbury, NJ and David Zyck of Ringoes, NJ; a grandson, Kyle Zyck; two sisters, Anna Gorski of Raritan Township, NJ and Vera Petrocelli of Brooklyn, NY; and two brothers, Steven Fandel of Raritan, NJ and Joseph Fandel of Ringoes, NJ.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in St. Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
