Maryann J. Presciti

Maryann J. Presciti, of Delaware Township, NJ, died peacefully at her home Monday, February 15, 2021, after a courageous eight year battle with cancer. Born in Astoria, Queens, she found her way to New Jersey where she met the man of her dreams, Vincent Presciti, Sr., whom she married in 1964. They remained married until his passing in 2007. Together they raised three sons, Vincent of Londonderry, VT, Michael of Englewood, FL and Mario of Baltimore, MD. A stint in the meat department for the Acme Market, Flemington, NJ was followed by a two decade career as an aide for Delaware Township School, Sergeantsville, NJ. During the late 1970’s and early 80’s, she participated in the Thursday Night Bowling League at Frenchtown Lanes with her husband. However, summers spent camping and fishing in Cheriton, VA became the number one passion that she and her husband enjoyed together and is how they tried to spend much of their retirement. Her passion for cooking and providing for her family remained until the end, even while battling a devastating sickness. Graveside services will be held Saturday, February 20, 2021, at 3:30 PM in Rosemont Cemetery, Rosemont, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Because of the pandemic, there will be a public memorial service to be held at a later time and date to be announced.
