Matilda I. Clemente

Matilda I. Clemente, age 81 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, passed quietly surrounded by her loving husband and family on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in New York City, NY, June 29, 1931, daughter of the late Carlo and Lucille Teyhen Longo, she was a lifelong resident of Hunterdon County.

A 1949 graduate of Flemington High School, Flemington, NJ, Matilda worked in the claims department at Farmers Mutual Insurance Company, Flemington, NJ.

She was pre-deceased by a sister, Lucille Teyhen and two brothers, James Teyhen and Daniel Teyhen.

Surviving are her husband of sixty-two years, Fred Clemente; two sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Barbara Clemente of Glen Gardner, NJ and Brian and Deanne Clemente of Easton, PA; two daughters, Karen Hoffman of Bucks County, PA and Dale Rush of Flemington, NJ; two brothers, Joseph Longo, and John Teyhen; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, February 26, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
