Matilda Krebs

Matilda Krebs, age 86 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, March 12, 2014.

Born in Flemington, NJ, July 25, 1927, daughter of the late Adolph and Elizabeth Pauss Krebs, she had resided in the Flemington area most of her life.

A graduate of Flemington High School, Flemington, NJ, she was formerly the Flemington Office Manager for the Farmers Home Administration until retiring.

Upon her retirement, Mattie enjoyed traveling and served as the travel coordiantor for the local AARP chapter.

In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by two brothers, William and Adolph Krebs, as well as a sister, Lillian Snyder.

Surviving are a brother, Rudolph Krebs of Raritan Township, NJ; three nephews, William Krebs of Katy, TX, Edward Snyder of Pennington, NJ and Robert Krebs of Middlesex, NJ; and two nieces, Judith Krebs and Marion Wainwright, both of Hawthorne, NJ.

Funeral Services will take place on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown, NJ. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00-2:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
