Born in Flemington, NJ on January 7, 1903, she was the daughter of the late William McLain and Bessie Hanson.

She worked as a grocery clerk in the A&P Store in Flemington.

Interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ.
