May J. Norkevich

May J. Norkevich, age 94 years, formerly of Three Bridges, NJ, died on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, in Country Arch Care Center, Pittstown, NJ.

Born in Bridgewater Township, NJ, November 11, 1919, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Duffy Stenger.

May was an avid artist and gardener. Her love of animals was well known.

Her beloved husband, Michael Norkevich, Sr., pre-deceased her in 1952. Surviving are her children, Betty Hughes of Clinton, NJ, Michael Norkevich of Idaho, Frank Norkevich of New York, and Stanley Norkevich of Phillipsburg, NJ; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 11 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Three Bridges Cemetery, Three Bridges, NJ. There will be no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Clinton Presbyterian Church, 91 Center Street, Clinton, NJ 08809.
