Melissa Kernan

Melissa Kernan, age 62 years, died Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township NJ.

Born in Tokyo Japan, the daughter of the late Hartsell Ned Kirby and Beatrice Kirby, Melissa has lived in Flemington for more than 25 years.

Melissa is survived by her husband of 34 years, Steven Kernan, her daughter, Molly Kernan of Macon GA, her sons, Mackenzie Kernan of Brooklyn NY, and Kirby Kernan of Washington DC, her sister, Kim Kirby of Centreville VA, and her mother, Bea Kirby of Springfield VA.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 23, 2017, at 2:00 PM in the Flemington Baptist Church, Main & Church Streets, Flemington, NJ

Cremation was private and under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington NJ.
