Michael A. Yacko, Sr.

Michael A. Yacko, Sr., age 89 years, of Flemington, NJ, died Saturday, July 29, 2017, at his home. Born in Forest City, PA, September 18, 1927, son of the late John and Anna Kopach Yacko, Michael had resided in Flemington seventy years. Mike was a Seaman in the United States Navy during the end of World War II. He was a lineman with Jersey Central Power & Light Co., Flemington, NJ, retiring in 1992. Surviving are his wife of sixty-eight years, Margaret Escok Yacko; a son, Michael Yacko, Jr., DMD, and his wife, Charlene, of Franklin TN; three brothers, Carl Yacko and Robert Yacko, both of Coal Township, PA, and Thomas Yacko of Catawissa, PA; five grandchildren, Valerie Hoffman, April Yacko, Michael Yacko III, Amanda Yacko and Ben Yacko; and three great grandchildren, Harley Yacko, Trevor Hoffman and Parker Hoffman. Another son, David Yacko, died in 2013. Private cremation services are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
