Michael Cass

Michael Cass, age 54 years, of Boca Raton, FL, died on Friday, October 28, 2005 in Kindred Hospital, Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Born November 11, 1949 in Newark, NJ to Nelson E. and Marianna Forbath Cass of East Norriton, PA, he had resided in Boca Raton, FL for the past twenty-five years, the past five at the Nazareth Group Homes run by Catholic Charities. He formerly resided in Morris Plains and Bloomfield, NJ.

He was an active participant in the Horses and the Handicapped Program, Boca Raton, FL as well as with the Special Olympics.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are two sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and John Gehring of Blue Bell, PA and Susan T. and Martin Stess of Raritan Township, NJ; an aunt, Rose Casamassima of East Norriton, PA; an uncle, Dr. Peter Forbath of Toronto, Canada; three nephews, Gregory and Alex Gehring of Blue Bell, PA and David Stess of Raritan Township, NJ; and a niece, Andrea Stess of Raritan Township, NJ.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Summer Road Three Bridges, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10-10:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home.
