Michael D. Marion

Michael D. Marion, age 58 years, of Alpha, NJ, died Thursday, March 17, 2016, in Lopatcong Care Center, Lopatcong Township, NJ.

Born in Doylestown, PA., January 26, 1958, son of the late Russell E. and Marilyn Zanetti Marion, he had resided all his life in the Flemington area except two years in Frenchtown, NJ and also in Alpha, NJ.

A boiler operator and maintenance mechanic, he was formerly employed by Presco Foods, Flemington, NJ and was also employed at one time by the Courier-News, Bridgewater, NJ and the Hunterdon County Democrat.

He was a lover of classic cars including stock car racing; loved the NY Giants and NY Mets which he views faithfully; loved his nieces and nephews and complaining about life's struggles to his siblings.

He was pre-deceased by his sisters, Vicki and Kathleen Marion, and a brother, Thomas Marion.

Surviving are two sisters, Linda Trigas of Alpha, NJ and Dale Weisneck of Flemington, NJ; two brothers, Patrick Marion of Bangor, PA. and Russell Marion, Jr. of Phillipsburg, NJ; and his beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 21, 2016, at 2:00 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Monday 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.
