Michael F. Walsh

Michael F. Walsh, age 54 years, of Tewksbury Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, January 31, 2007, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Newark, NJ, October 20, 1952, he was the son of the late Herbert F. and Margaret S. Clark Walsh. He had formerly resided in Kearny, NJ, before moving to the Oldwick section of Tewksbury Township fifteen years ago.

He was a graduate of the Teterboro School of Aeronautics and the R.E.T.S. Electronics School.

Mr. Walsh was a Tech Foreman with Eastern Airlines, Newark, NJ, until 1991, and for the past sixteen years was employed by UPS Air Division, Newark, NJ.

He was a dedicated craftsman and had great pride in his work. What he loved and enjoyed the most were his wife, Lois, and sons Christopher, Michael, and Robert, and his German Shepherd friends, Mikey and Oni.

Mr. Walsh raised Koi and designed and built his own Koi pond. He spent many loving hours making his home and garden a peaceful Eden for himself and his family.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Walsh was predeceased by his grandson, Zachary, and brothers Joseph and Herbert.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Lois Jotz Walsh; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Valerie Walsh of Hampstead, MD; sons, Michael Walsh of Glen Gardner, NJ, and Robert Walsh at home; and a sister, Suzanne Walsh of West Holyoke, MA.
