Michael S. Berardi

Michael S. Berardi, age 75, died Saturday, May 31, 2014, at Hunterdon Care Center in Flemington.

Born November 3, 1938 in Hoboken NJ to the late Nicholas and Helen (Vezzetti) Berardi, Michael was raised in Hoboken NJ, lived in Colonia NJ, and moved to Readington Township in 1970.

Michael was a member of the United States Air Force Active Reserves in the 33rd Casualty Staging Squadron and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 6930 of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station. He loved the beach, especially Manasquan, New Jersey, and later, Marco Island, Florida.

He graduated from Pace University in NY with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. He was a Financial Planner for many years with Paine Webber in Flemington before opening his own firm, DM Associates, in Whitehouse.

He was married to Dolores Berardi for 27 years of Flemington NJ and is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Dianna and Cary Arnold of Baltimore, MD, his sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Jennifer Berardi II, of Lawrenceville, NJ, and Marc and Robin Berardi of Flemington, NJ. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Ronald & Amelita Berardi of Lakewood NJ and seven grandchildren, Megan, Joey, and Andrew Arnold, and Sarah, Zachary, Luke and Nicholas Berardi.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am, Friday, June 6th at St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Entombment will follow at St. Magdalen Mausoleum. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm, at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael’s name may be made to the Knights of Columbus, Council 6930, PO Box 192, Whitehouse Station, New Jersey 08889.
