Michael Tucholski, Jr., age 21 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on Monday, September 3, 2007 in Clinton Township, NJ, as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Born in Bellville, NJ, August 19, 1986, son of Michael Tucholski, Sr. of Flemington, NJ and Terry Nylander of Flemington, NJ, he had resided in Flemington all his life. A 2004 graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School, Michael was entering his Junior Year at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ, where he was majoring in Economics. An avid snowboarder, surfer, golfer, weightlifter, dirt bike rider and certified belayer, Michael was also very involved in polevaulting at Hunterdon Central Regional High School and was a Division 1 polevaulter at Rutgers. At the Central Jersey Group Meet, he broke the meet record at 15 feet. Additionally, he won many, many awards from meets all throughout the tri-state area as well as competing in the Nationals in North Carolina rather than attending his own high school graduation. He made his Confirmation at the age of thirteen at the Flemington United Methodist Church, Flemington, NJ and currently was serving an internship at Axa Financial where he worked for a Senior Stockbroker. A member of the Entrepreneurs Club at HCRHS, Michael also worked with his father's company, MT3 Construction, Flemington, NJ. During his younger years, he was very involved with Boy Scouts, Baseball and Football. Surviving are his mother and her fiancee, Terry Nylander and Paul Foeldvari of Flemington, NJ; his father, Michael Tucholski, Sr. of Flemington, NJ; his brother, Mitchell Tucholski of Flemington, NJ; his former step-father, Dave Giuliani of Flemington, NJ; his maternal grandparents, Russ and Brenda Arabia of Old Bridge, NJ and George and Luba Nylander of Wood-Ridge, NJ; paternal grandparents, Raymond and Sally Tucholski of Whiting, NJ; aunts & uncles, Joseph and Daryl Schwing of Freehold, NJ, George and Jane Nylander of Whiting, NJ, Raymond and Diane Tucholski of Cranbury, NJ, Thomas and Georgette Tucholski of Oakhurst, NJ, Robert and Theresa Benedetti of Teaneck, NJ and Danielle Nylander of Wood-Ridge, NJ; cousins, Jenine, Joseph, Breanne, Billy, Jenna, Raymond, Josef, Kylee, Danielle, Kelly, John Thomas, Julian and Marissa. A brother, Timothy Tucholski, died in 1989. Michael loved his brother Mitchell, his entire family and extended family and friends intensely, and his many pets. Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Flemington United Methodist Church, 116 Main Street, Flemington, NJ under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Friday from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
