Michael W. Nieberding, age 66 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Monday, June 13, 2005.
Born in Baltimore, MD, November 24, 1938, he was the son of the late William J. and Margaret Judge Nieberding. He had formerly resided in Ellicott City, MD.
Mr. Nieberding was a graduate of the Loyola College of Maryland, and he received his M.A. in Business Administration from the University of Alabama.
An Information Systems Specialist, he was employed by Empire Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New York, and then by the IBM Corporation, retiring in 2003.
A United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War, Mr. Nieberding served two tours of duty and was honorably discharged with the rank of Major. He was a communicant of St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara Redmond Nieberding; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael J. and Linda Nieberding of Ellicott City, MD and Thomas C. Nieberding of Doylestown, PA; five brothers, Jospeh and Arthur of Bel Air, MD, Stephen of Grasonville, MD, William of Farmers Ranch, TX and Nicholas of Salisbury, MD; and five grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
