Mike M. Michisk

Mike M. Michisk, age 88 years, of Mineral, VA, died on Saturday, May 15, 2010 in the University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville, VA.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, September 22, 1922, he had resided in Mineral since 1998, having formerly lived in Stockton and Whitehouse Station, NJ.

A retired mechanic for the United States Government working out of Belle Mead, NJ, Mr. Michisk was a former member of the Stanton Gun Club and the Moose Lodge. He was also a United States Army Veteran of World War II.

His wife, Elizabeth Cunningham Michisk, died in 1994.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Michael G. and Rosanne Michisk of Mineral, VA; a daughter, Linda Michisk of Ellsworth, ME; four grandchildren, Dawn Michisk and Allison, Gretchen and Zachary Lutz; and three great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will take place Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ, preceded by a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
