Milan Brozman, 97, of Stockton died on Sunday at home after a brief hospital stay.
Mr. Brozman was born April 7, 1917 in Bethlehem, PA to Andrew and Mary Fillo Brozman. As a child he came to Yonkers with his family where he was raised and attended Saunders High School. Milan was a member of the Slovak Sokol Gymnastic Society and as a youth worked as a caddy at the Dunwoodie Golf Course.
He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War ll as a Seaman First Class Gunners Mate on Liberty Ships in Europe and the Middle East from May 1943 to October 1945.
On November 28, 1942 he married Emilia Zachar at the German Baptist Church also known as Amwell Church of the Brethern, Sandbrook. He was a carpenter until 1955 when he became employed for 25 years in Quality Control at Ethyl (Visqueen) Corporation, Flemington. He enjoyed golfing and was a good, avid golfer. He attended St. Paul Lutheran Church, Flemington where he was a Charter Member.
Milan is pre-deceased by his loving wife Emilia in 2010, brothers Walter, Andrew, Robert, John, and sister Beatrice.
He is survived by his devoted daughter Beverly (William Flipse) of Long Island, devoted son Richard (Carol) Brozman, Stockton,NJ.favorite granddaughters Beatrice and Christine Flipse. Poppy to Melissa Grimes, Kevin Waring, Jenna Grimes, Emma, Hannah, Carter Waring. He was Uncle Mil to all his favorite nieces, nephews, and loving second cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Noon in St. Paul Lutheran Church, 201 Highway 31, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ.

Family and friends are invited to the house at 231 Ringoes Rosemont Road, Stockton, NJ for a repast following the interment.
