Mildred Allen

Mildred Allen, age 93 years, formerly of Maplewood, NJ, died Monday, January 15, 2018, at Atrium Post Acute Care, Princeton, NJ. Born in Newark, NJ, November 11, 1924, she had resided in Maplewood, NJ most of her life. Mildred was formerly a Manager with a real estate firm in Lindon, NJ. Her husband, Frederick Allen, died in 2006. Surviving are five daughters, Mildred Libster of Racine, WI, Fredericka Allen-Tilford of Castro Valley, CA, Diane Prupis of Marlboro, NJ, Alix Ann Allen and Mary Schwenkler, both of Flemington, NJ; a brother, Ken Harrison of East Orange, NJ; twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Private graveside services will be held in Fairview Cemetery, Westfield, NJ. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
