Mildred Goodman

Mildred Goodman, age 96 years, died Sunday, June 9, 2019, at Five Star Premier Assisted Living, Teaneck, NJ.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, December 19, 1922, daughter of the late Louis and Rae Tessler Lederman, she had previously resided in Franklin Township, Hunterdon County, NJ, for sixty years.

Mildred was formerly a bookkeeper with Flemington Tile, Bound Brook, NJ, and an active member of the Flemington Jewish Community Center.

Her husband of fifty-nine years, Benjamin Goodman, died in 2008. Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and Alan Hans of Fair Lawn, NJ, Carol and Marc Cohen of River Vale, NJ, and Judith and Robert Kay of Monroe, NJ; a brother Sidney Lederman in Florida; a brother-in-law, Harold Levy of Connecticut; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at 11:00 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Flemington Jewish Community Cemetery.
