Miriam E. Fields

Miriam E. Fields, age 92 years, of Lopatcong Township, NJ, died on Monday May 16, 2011 in Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, NJ.

Born in Flemington, NJ, December 8, 1918, daughter of the late Walter and Ethel Sutton Snook, she had resided in Lopatcong Township since 2003, having formerly lived in Pattenburg, NJ.

A Homemaker, she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Phillipsburg.

Her husband, William E. Fields, Sr., died in 1990.

Surviving are a son, William E. Fields of High Bridge, NJ; a daughter, Charlotte Hudson of Port St. Lucie, FL; a brother, Jack Snook in FL; a sister, Ruth Wilson in WV; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral Services will take place Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the First Baptist Church of Phillipsburg, 810 Red School Lane, Phillipsburg, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Leigh Street, Clinton, NJ. Calling hours will be Thursday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
