Morton James Paugh, age 93 years, died peacefully in the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, September 22, 2010, in the Country Arch Care Center,

Union Township, Hunterdon County, NJ.

Born in Paterson, NJ, he was the son of the late William and Jennie Aitken Paugh. He had formerly resided in Clinton Township, NJ, and North Haledon, NJ.

He was a United States Navy veteran of World War II.

He was a retired baker with The Cookie Man, Midland Park, NJ.

He was a Communicant of Immaculate Conception Church, Annandale, NJ, and a member of the American Legion Post, North Haledon, NJ.

He was pre-deceased by a sister, Lorraine Bley. Surviving are his wife of sixty-three years, Charlotte Sieber Paugh; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Christine Paugh of Clinton Township, NJ; and a grandson, Ryan Paugh of Madison, WI.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 10:30 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
