Myrtle Ann Hill, age 70 years, of Hillsborough Township, NJ, died on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Somerville, NJ, November 28, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Lorraine Fleury Schneider. She had resided in Hillsborough most of her life.
A graduate of Somerville High School, she was a school bus driver for Hunterdon Central High School, Flemington, NJ for twenty-five years, retiring in 1993.
She was a former volunteer with the Hillsborough Rescue Squad; an avid gardener, quilt collector, and Longaberger basket collector.
She was a loving grandmother to her grandchildren and loved her cat Nigel.
Her husband, R. Everitt Hill, died in 1979. Surviving are three daughters, Joann Bullock of Neshanic Station, NJ, Janice VanDerveer and Jennifer Smith both of Hillsborough, NJ; a brother, Robert Schneider of Port St. Lucie, FL; and six grandchildren: Stephanie and Molly Bullock, Matthew and Alyssa VanDerveer and Brett and Mackenzie Smith.
Funeral Services will be held privately on Friday. Interment will be in Clover Hill Cemetery, Clover Hill, NJ. Public calling hours will be held on Thursday from 7-9 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
