Naida Wetstein, age 65 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Sunday, February 5, 2006, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Jersey City, NJ, August 8, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Sidney and Ruth Giller Lifchitz.
She had resided in Raritan Township for the past thirty-six years.
She was a graduate of the Rutgers College of Pharmacy. She was employed by Neighbor Care as the Director of Pharmacy at the Hunterdon Developmental Center, Clinton, NJ.
She was a member of the Flemington Jewish Community Center, Flemington, NJ, where she had served as the Membership Chair of the Ladies Auxiliary. She was a former secretary and founding member of Congregation Bet Tivka. She was an active volunteer with the American Cancer Society, where she was honored as Volunteer of the Year, and served as a Reach to Recovery Counselor for breast cancer.
She is survived by her husband of forty years, Art Wetstein; a daughter, Stacey Goodale, of Medway, MA; a son, Andrew Wetstein, of Nesconset, Long Island, NY; and a sister, Rita Potasnick, of Jersey City, NJ.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 2:30 PM in the Flemington Jewish Community Center, 40 East Main Street, Flemingtion, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Flemington Jewish Community Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
