Norma B. Weinstein

Norma B. Weinstein, age 92 years, of Flemington, NJ, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at the Morristown Post Acute Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Morristown, NJ.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, January 20, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Florence (Linkow) Alpert. She had formerly resided in Brooklyn, NY, Manhattan, NY, Somerville, NJ, Whitehouse Station, NJ, and finally Flemington, NJ for the last forty-four years.

Norma was a homemaker and in her spare time enjoyed gardening. She had a warm and friendly personality and was, in her family’s words, “the life of the party”. Finally, she was always there for her two children, Daniel and David; she was the best mother they could have asked for.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her two sisters. Surviving are her two sons, Daniel Weinstein of Flemington, NJ and David Weinstein and his wife, Debra Hernandez of Toronto, Ontario, Canada; three grandchildren, Jason, Jonathan, and Hannah; eight nieces and nephews; as well as two grandnieces.

A visitation with the family will take place on Friday, July 7, 2023, from 12 Noon - 1:15 PM at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Graveside services and interment in the Jewish Community Center of Flemington Cemetery, 61 Capner Street, Flemington, NJ will follow at 1:30 PM, officiated by Rabbi Joseph Forman.
